Student Art on Display at Expree CU Art Gallery

Broadstone Gallery at Expree Credit Union is showcasing the art of Frankfort High School Junior Jamie Bessinger in her first solo show, LIFE

 Frankfort High School Junior, Jamie Bessinger, is exhibiting her first solo, LIFE, in a Student Art Showcase at Broadstone Gallery at Expree Credit Union.  The show will be on display in the Credit Union lobby until June 12, 2026.  A reception for the artist will be on Friday, May 8, from 5-7 p.m.

Bessinger is a junior at Frankfort High School.  She is an alumna of the Governor’s School for the Arts.  She has won several awards for her artwork, including four statewide competitions, and at the National Beta Club Convention.  She was just accepted as a Governor’s Scholar and is an avid runner.  

Bessinger has on display paintings, drawings, photography, ceramics, and mixed media pieces in a show she titled LIFE.  For this show, her first solo art show, she captures the life inside and around us, showing that, everywhere and in everything we do, life is made of little moments in between. 

Broadstone Gallery, formerly known as Jane Chancellor Moore Gallery, at Expree Credit Union has a long tradition of showcasing student art. Bessinger was invited to showcase her work, given the many accolades she has received for her artwork.
